StudentLIFE (Grades 6-8)
“Making and mobilizing disciples who will declare, display and defend the truth.”
“To Pursue at All Costs a Passionate God-Centered Life.”
HOURS: Mon-Thurs 9am-4pm
What To Expect
- “It is my pleasure to encourage anyone in the area who is looking for a dynamic Bible church that upholds the truth of God’s Word to consider Life Fellowship.”
- “If I were looking to pursue God in a vital way in the Charlotte area, I would connect with Life Fellowship.”
- “God builds great churches through great leaders…men and women who follow Jesus’ model and serve people. This is a major reason why I am excited about this church.”
- “I want to recommend to anyone who is hungry to know and understand the message of Scripture to get behind this vision.”
- “We at Fellowship Bible Church of Little Rock are very excited about the church planting efforts of Bobby Conway. We plan on investing our resources as a church in helping Bobby make this new venture a success. We would encourage anyone else to do the same.”
Our mission statement is: making and mobilizing disciples to declare, display and defend the truth. Our vision statement is to pursue at all costs a passionate God-centered LIFE! We want to do less me-centered living and more God-centered living. When God becomes the radiant center of our lives, we begin to do more than merely exist—we begin to live. But don’t let anyone fool you; living for God is costly. At times, it means trusting Him when life makes zero sense. At other times, it means letting go of our own personal desires in order to experience what He desires.
At LIFE Fellowship, we believe it’s worth the effort to pursue at all costs a passionate God-centered life. There is simply nothing more rewarding than living for the One who sent His Son to die for us. It’s quite the paradox, but Jesus died for us so that we might live for Him. Jesus said, “I have come that they may have life, and have it abundantly” (John 10:10). We want everyone to experience the LIFE that Jesus came to give us and the key is to pursue at all costs a passionate God-centered LIFE! We have to pursue the one who came to pursue us (Luke 19:10).
At LIFE Fellowship we start our services by saying, “Welcome to the place where LIFE is defined.” We say that because we believe when you pursue at all costs a passionate God-centered LIFE, your life will no longer lack definition. We define LIFE this way: real life is never fully defined until one is:
Living In Community
Investing In Growth
Finding Your Purpose
Embracing Our Mission
We live in a culture that often shirks at the idea of absolute truth. In fact, our culture is marching to the tune of a belief known as relativism, which states, “There is no such thing as truth.” At Life Fellowship not only do we believe in truth, but we also believe truth can be known, experienced and defined. Though we live in a world full of untold mysteries and serve a God of mystery He has chosen to reveal to us some very simple, yet profound truths that we express beneath through the acrostic: D-O-C-T-R-I-N-E.
Deity and Humanity of Christ –
(John 1:1, 20:28; Acts 20:28b; Hebrews 1:8a; Titus 1:3b, 2:13)
Original Sin and Separation from God –
(Genesis 1:26, 2:1-17, 6:5; Romans 3:10-19; Ephesians 2:1-3)
Christ’s Death for Sin and His Bodily Resurrection –
(John 3:16; Romans 5:8, 10:9-10)
The Trinity –
(Matthew 28:19-20; Mark 12:29; John 1:14; Acts)
Return of Christ Physically –
(Ezekiel 37:21-28; Matthew 24:15-25; 2Timothy 3:1-5; Revelation 20:1-3)
Inerrancy and authority of Scripture –
(Mark 12:26, 12:36, 13:11; Luke 24:27; 2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:21)
Necessary Salvation by Grace Through Faith in Christ Alone –
(John 14:6; Ephesians 2:8-9)
Eternal Security of the Believer –
(John 5:24, 10:28, 13:1, 14:16-17, 17:11; Romans 8:29; 1 Corinthians 6:19)
LIFEQUEST CLASSES & BAPTISM:
LIFEQuest Membership Classes: Oct. 2 & Nov. 20, 2016
Baptism Service: Sept. 25, 2016
When it comes to finding a church home, one of the most important facets we investigate is the Sunday morning service. When we visit a church we find ourselves asking questions such as: “Do I like the music? Are the people friendly? Can I connect with the pastor?” If so, it’s a done deal! This is where we belong.”
Okay, that might be stretching it a little bit, but here is what we do know: Sunday morning service’s only gives people a snap shot of the church as a whole. There is so much more to the local church than just the Sunday morning service.
HOW TO BECOME A MEMBER | ABOUT LIFEQUEST:
That is where LIFEQuest comes in. LIFEQuest is a 90-minute class that is designed to help our guests gain a better understanding of what we call our “LIFE vision”. One of our members has described LIFEQuest as “the place where people can really get under the hood of what we are doing.”
At LIFEQuest, we talk about the vision, values, philosophy and beliefs behind LIFE Fellowship. It’s a great place to hear the story of how LIFE Fellowship came to be. Furthermore, it provides a wonderful opportunity for meeting other guests and asking questions you may have.
In fact, LIFEQuest is our official membership class. It’s at this class where the rubber meets the road. After attending LIFEQuest, people feel like they have a much better grasp of the vision of LIFE Fellowship Church. More importantly, when people leave, they know if this is the type of church of which they want to become a part. What you will enjoy the most about this tour through the vision of LIFE Fellowship is this vision can become your vision. LIFE Fellowship calls others to join in our story by helping people realize that our story can become their story.

LIFEgroups are one of the primary ways in which we ‘do life together’ at LIFE Fellowship. Our LIFEgroups are open to members and non-members alike. We encourage all of our members to connect and plug into a LIFEgroup at LIFE Fellowship. If you are new to LIFE Fellowship and not a member yet, we strongly encourage you to engage in a LIFEgroup setting as well. Our LIFEgroups provide a fantastic opportunity to Gather, Grow, and Go. (read more about our vision…) We have more than 40 LIFEgroups in total that meet around the Lake Norman area. Our groups meet on various nights throughout the week and in various locations. Some eat together, some provide childcare, and some gather in creative ways. Click on the image below to browse groups and get plugged in!
If you are college aged and want to learn more about what LIFE Fellowship has to offer you…email Simon Foster or call him at 479.685.7517. We would love to meet with you and help get you plugged in to CollegeLIFE!

To pursue at all costs a passionate God-centered LIFE
WHY? So that students become world-changing followers of Jesus Christ.
is a visual picture of Student Life’s vision for accomplishing our mission. As a leader our desire is that you know this by heart.
Gospel: We desire for the Gospel to be at the center of ALL we do. (Romans 5:8, Romans 1:16-17)
Gather: Sunday mornings we gather. Cell groups gather. Students and leaders gather for discipleship and accountability. At camps and retreats we gather. As we give leadership opportunities we gather. Every opportunity with our students is an opportunity for them to learn and grow. (Acts 2:42-47, Ecclesiastes 4:12, Matthew 18:20)
Grow: Our prayer is that during the times of gathering our students are challenged to grow closer to the Lord. Taking every opportunity to learn more about who He is and how we can live for His glory.
(1 Peter 2:1-3, Philippians 4:8-9)
Go: We challenge our students to live their lives worthy of the Gospel. When they GO to school, GO home, GO to practices, GO to games, GO to rehearsals, we want them to be proclaiming Christ. We challenge them to “Love Your City” by loving their schools, their families, their friends. Spring Break mission trips provide them with opportunities to GO. We pray and believe that the Lord will use our students to change the world as they GO.

Our mission is to make and mobilize disciples who will declare, display and defend the Gospel! We want to partner with you in leading your child to pursue at all costs a passionate God-centered LIFE. Through that G0d-centered life, your child will truly know, love, and serve Jesus Christ with all of their heart.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Early Childhood (6 weeks – Preschool)
KidLIFE gives your little one a first impression of their loving heavenly Father. They will discover who God is through these three truths:
-God loves me.
-God made me.
-Jesus wants to be my friend forever.
Preschoolers will hear an engaging Bible story and experience worship through song and dance every Sunday. During their LIFE Group time, they will meet with friends and a devoted leader who will guide them through activities and discussions to help them learn more about the God who loves them most.
Elementary (Kindergarten – 5th Grade)
KidLIFE invites your Kindergartener – 5th grader to grow in their relationship with God and with others by discovering how they are part of God’s big story. Your child will begin to explore who God is, what they mean to Him, how much they are loved by Him, and how they can live for Him. Before your child heads off to middle school, we want to make sure these three truths stick:
-I need to make the wise choice.
-I can trust God no matter what.
-I should treat others the way I want to be treated.
Each Sunday, your child will hear a Bible story told in an unforgettable way accompanied by engaging worship through song and dance. During their LIFE Group time, kids will have the opportunity to make friends, ask questions, and discuss what they’ve learned. Your child will also participate in activities that reinforce the main application point of the week. Their dedicated leader will help them understand how the Bible applies to their life and learn how to grow in their relationship with God.

LIFE University is part of our over-all strategy for equipping believers on how to live biblically and to teach others. LIFE University classes are open to everyone of any age. You do not need to be a member to attend. Through LIFE University we teach courses like Financial Peace University or deal with topics like Apologetics, Marriage and Family, Discipleship, and Identifying Your Spiritual Gifts. We also do verse-by-verse Bible studies, offer video classes such as “The Truth Project” and studies surrounding books such as “Two Becoming One.” Classes range in length from 1 week to 1 year, with most classes lasting 8-12 weeks.
We encourage our LIFE family to come 1 hour for worship and to stay a second hour to learn or serve. LIFE University is an integral part of that challenge as many stay for specialized instructions and some even serve on the LIFE University faculty.
WHERE DOES LIFE UNIVERSITY MEET?
LIFE University meets in the classrooms throughout the Community School of Davidson. Specific room locations can be found with the greeters in the front lobby. Signs are also posted outside the classrooms.
WHEN DOES LIFE UNIVERSITY MEET?
Most classes are offered at 9:30 a.m. on Sundays with the remaining ones meeting at 11 a.m.
HOW TO CONNECT:
Register for these studies through GraceBase.
We hold pre-enrollment 1 month prior to the start of each class and that guarantees a seat. If seats remain, you may attend a class on a first-come-first-served basis from week to week as long as there is available space. For more information, contact Bennett Harris.

Location & Time: Room 224 at 9:30 a.m.
Description: Trumpets, Seals, Beasts, Prophecy, Battle…It’s no wonder the Book of Revelation is the only book that John Calvin did not write a commentary on! Join us for this verse-by-verse, expository walk through the final book of Scripture as we explore the major themes and various interpretations. We’ll also consult other prophetical sections of the Bible as necessary as we examine the things that have been, the things that are and the things that will be.
Financial Peace University
Instructor: Kerry Belcher
Dates: Sept. 11 – Oct. 30
Location & Time: Room 230 at 9:30 a.m.
Cost: $100 (attend all eight classes and receive a $50 refund)
Description: Want to do more with less? Does living debt-free appeal to you? Do you want to be able to save for the future, be generous to God and others and avoid financial stress that ruins relationships? This world-renown course shows you how.
Instructor: Jason McCracken
Dates: Sept. 11 – Oct. 30
Location & Time: Room 228 at 11 a.m.
Description: Christians are called to love God, love others and spread the gospel, but how does this work when we encounter people with vastly different views than us on God and life? Some Christians soften their convictions about truth and others harshen their treatment of those they are called to love. In this study we will seek to dialogue with other views of the world in order to understand, answer and gain insight into humbly pointing everyone to our absolute hope, Jesus, with clarity and compassion.
Two Becoming One (1-Week Seminar)
Instructor: Roland Martinez

Location & Time: Room 239 at 9:30 a.m.
Description: Married couples, have you gone through the marriage, small group study, Two Becoming One? It could have been with your LIFE Group or in LIFE University on Sunday morning. Have you facilitated the study with other couples? Maybe you haven’t gone through the study, but you would like to invest in other marriages?
We would love to meet with you just one Sunday morning. We are looking to identify Marriage Disciplers. Couples who would be willing to facilitate, co-faciliate a marriage, small group study, and/or mentor couples.
LIFE University will be hosting a one session, short training and round table discussion of marriage discipleship at Life Fellowship.
Instructor: Dan & Julie Burrell
Dates: Sept. 25
Location & Time: Media Center at 11 a.m.
Description: The process of adoption is never a straight line. It can be a gut-wrenching, roller coaster ride of unexpected twists and turns from the moment you decide to explore the process to the moment you stand before the judge for the last step. If you’d like to meet some folks who have gone through the process, are going through it or are thinking about it, join us on September 25 at 11 AM in the Media Center. Dan and Julie Burrell will lead the conversation and multiple other families who care and understand will be there too so that you can get an idea of what to expect and compare notes with others.
Intro to Apologetics
Instructor: Mike Kozlinski
Dates: Sept. 11-Nov. 20
Location & Time: Room 232 at 11 a.m.
Description: In a culture that is growing increasingly hostile to Christianity, it is vital for Christians to understand the reasons for why Christianity is true. Doing so helps yield a confident faith in Jesus, helps a believer grow in their devotion to Jesus, and helps Christians engage with their lost family and friends with the truths of the gospel. This class is going to look at why apologetics is a worthy topic to study, the nature of truth, the reasons for the existence of God, and why we can trust the Bible among other valuable issues. We will do this using I Don’t Have Enough Faith to be an Atheist by Norman Geisler and Frank Turek as a resource so please acquire it, read it, and bring it with you to class.
The missions strategy for Life Fellowship includes “Heads, Hands and Hearts”. Through these three areas, we seek to challenge thinking, help others and change lives through the Gospel (Matthew 27:19). In pursuing these areas, we hope to bring people to Christ locally, nationally and internationally. We encourage people to EMBRACE their mission by becoming personally involved in taking the Gospel to others wherever they go. Whatever we do, through apologetics, through ministering to those who are struggling, through planting churches, through supporting international projects – we are committed that it MUST contain a Gospel core. Money, labor, supplies or mere arguments never change lives. Only Jesus can give real answers, real hope, real sustenance and real change. We are all for philanthropy and believe it should be done, but our highest goal is to see people of all nations, all socio-economic strata, all intellectual and educational levels and all races hear the ONLY message that will still matter in a thousand years – that is….Jesus Saves!
Our missions ministry is established as 10% of the previous year’s actual giving plus any special financial gifts that are designated through our regular and special offerings.

…el lugar donde la VIDA se define
Facebook, Instagram, Twitter:
¡Comenzamos a vivir!
(Juan 5:24, 10:28, 13, 1, 14:16-17, 17:11; Romanos 8:29, 1 Co 6:19; Hebreos 7:25)
What is LIFECare?
At LIFE Fellowship we believe care is best provided by those closest to us. LIFEgroups are where we share life, grow together and care for each other. There are however, those times, when the need is too deep for the LIFEgroup to handle alone or occasionally someone isn’t connected to a LIFE Group. For those times we have our LIFECare ministry ready to serve. We all have challenging times in our lives.
LIFECare team members reach out to people who are going through a broad range of life experiences. Whether it be an extended illness, the loss of a loved one, short/long term trauma or any other tough time comes our way. God does not want us to go through these times alone. LIFECare teams of compassionate, caring and trained volunteers assist in providing support during difficult seasons of life.
At LIFE Fellowship we want to do everything we can to ensure every member and attendee feels the love of Christ and we share each other’s burdens as scripture teaches…“that there may be no division in the body, but that the members may have the same care for one another. If one member suffers, all suffer together; if one member is honored, all rejoice together.”

Marriage is a big deal and we believe that every marriage was designed to thrive! Why? Marriage is God’s perfect object lesson of His love for us: it’s permanent, faithful, always loving, forgiving and giving. The health of a marriage relationship affects multiple aspects of our individual lives and community. If you are interested in taking your marriage to the next level or helping another couple to do the same, check out what we have to offer. To find out more or get involved in any of the options listed below contact our Marriage Pastor, Roland Martinez.
Pre-Engaged / Engaged
Congratulations! LIFE Fellowship is thrilled to be part of this exciting season in your life. We want to make sure you are equipped with the biblical principles necessary to experience all that God intends your marriage to be. We offer three steps to prepare you for your married life. The process is as follows:
Step One: Take the Prepare Inventory.
Step Two: Connect to a Marriage Mentor. Marriage Mentors are not counselors, but they are passionate about enriching marriages.
Step Three: Pre-marital counseling. Utilizing the Two Becoming One study by Don and Sally Meredith, this four session counseling will introduce you to God’s original intent for the marriage relationship.
There is no neutrality in marriage. You are either moving towards one another and growing in intimacy, or drifting away towards isolation. We want to provide resources to ensure you are moving towards one another in ONEness.
Option One: Two Becoming One small group study. This Study is designed to take you on an eight-week journey providing a biblical blueprint that reveals the type of marriage God originally intended you to have.
Option Two: Be connected to a mentor. Maybe you don’t feel like you and your spouse are needing counseling but that you may benefit from marriage mentoring. Perhaps it would just help to have another person or couple to listen and walk you through some basic steps to biblically rebuild or strengthen the foundation of your marriage.
Marriage in Crisis
“There are no other couples who struggle the way we do.” Thinking you are alone is one of the lies believed by those who are in a crisis marriage. “There is no hope for our marriage. I’m done….” Believing you are hopeless and ready to walk is another lie believed by those in a fractured relationship. LIFE Fellowship wants you to know there is hope. We want you to know that you are not alone, and are committed to helping you reconcile your marriage relationship. The first step for you is to reach out. Contact us for help at email@example.com.
Option One: Become a 2B1MD. Train to disciple other couples through an eight-week study that focuses on God’s original intent for the marriage relationship.
Option Two: Become a marriage mentor. Interested in coming alongside other married couples? Become a Marriage Mentor! You will impact marriages and families for a lifetime.

This floorplan does not include everything we certainly would like to have had or in some cases even need, but within our budget and capacity, this layout is a very efficient, high-use, practical and functional design that will serve the church well during this phase of our growth and ministry. This is truly an “all-week-long” facility which will be used to “make” and “mobilize” disciples to declare, display and defend the TRUTH while pursuing at all costs, the passionate, God-centered, LIFE!
Frequently Asked Questions
How much is the new building going to cost?
Initial estimates are that the total cost of the building from this point will be approximately $7.2-7.5 million dollars. This amount includes site development, parking and roads, sewer, water, drainage, building, sidewalks, landscaping, equipment, furnishing and A/V/L. This does not include the land which is paid for free and clear and has a value in excess of $1.75 million.
What was the FINAL total of our Time to Build Campaign?
To date, we have received cash and commitments to give of $2.037 million to be received by the completion of the Time to Build Campaign in January 2017 when permanent financing will take place. This does NOT include the funds designated in the 2014-17 budgets which are to be applied toward reducing the amount borrowed and paying any construction loan interest that accrues during construction.
When Do We Expect to Be in the New Building?
We held our Groundbreaking service on August 2, 2015. We hope to be in the new building at some point in October 2016.
So what’s going on with the Time to Build Campaign now?
We will continue to provide updates, quarterly giving statements, announcements and project information through the next 18 months. It is VERY important that we continue to follow up on our commitments and intentions and the sooner we give, the less interest we will have to pay during construction.
Will there be additional Time to Build meetings or events?
Many LIFE Groups are going to be doing fund raisers designed to provide ministry, group activities and fellowship for all who participate. We will announce these so that all can get involved. As new members join the church, we will hold information meetings for them as well and invite them to participate. Other opportunities to be reminded are also being discussed by the staff.
What about the Child Development Center?
The Monday-Friday childcare center that has been designed for this phase will begin the licensing process as construction begins. It is our goal to open this center as a ministry at the beginning of 2017. Work toward finalizing a plan toward opening will begin this fall.
Can church members visit the campus site and walk around?
Edifice Construction has built an area where people can park and view the progress in person that is right next to the construction site trailer. You will be able to use this area shortly. Until then, you can see much of the activity that is happening from Chartown Road. Please do not walk around the campus or on the pad for safety and liability reasons.
